Arrrr.....

Myspace strolled into the web and took over what we would like to consider the social networking medium. Unfortunately Facebook arrived and well.... WTF happened...Today, No one can really kick dust into the FACE of facebook. Facebook is currently on the rise and has already overtaken various regional social networking site such as hi5 and Orkut and on certain macro levels, Myspace.

Why???

Well, facebook has been good to me... and to all those who've used it. It's given me the freedom to be social without giving my profile out as advertisement. The opening of the Facebook apps has taken most by surprise and has literally caught other social networking sites off guard.

One such app that has hooked millions to facebook is Pirates,it's one of the most basic games ever, something that even a 20th Century computing whiz could have cracked. It's all based on images, no fancy graphics, no crazy sound effects, just plain n simple clipart jpegs. All you do is click and click and click... There is one algorithm that controls your luck in this game and it seems to have addicted millions. People spend hours just clicking away aimlessly hoping to bomb someone.

This is a trend set to dilute the very existence of the brain... it's just a matter of time before the world as we know it ceases to think. Sometimes i wonder if this is some conspiracy to fool the world into playing dumb.

There has to be app's that are more useful, something that goes beyond the usual time pass and idiot boxing.
Will anyone come up with something interesting or are they just waiting for me to initiate it...
Yet after i type this i shall go back to playing Pirates... Arrrr... i've been sucked into the vicious cycle of stupidity.

Arrrr......
